Our Licence Bridge Training
BA to B

At the Georges Driving School in Monaco, we offer a bridging course specially designed for drivers with a BA (automatic gearbox) licence who want to upgrade to a B (manual gearbox) licence. This course enables you to acquire the skills needed to drive a car with a manual transmission, giving you greater flexibility and freedom on the road.

This training consists of 7 hours of manual gearbox driving after a minimum of 6 months from passing the BEA driving test. No regularisation procedure before an inspector is necessary at the end of this training (except for drivers who have taken the BEA licence for medical reasons).

How the course works

  • Students will be trained to handle a car with a mechanical gearbox...
  • The training is practical and individual. The training is given on a category B manual gearshift vehicle. Theoretical input, linked to practical experience, can be provided in the vehicle.

Documents to be supplied

Photocopy of both sides of identity card or residence permit

Photocopy of driving licence

1 Proof of address in the applicant’s name + accommodation certificate (if different name)

4 ANTS-approved ‘ephoto’ photographs of the face
